Blind Man's Bluff: The Untold Story of American Submarine EspionageBlind Man’s Bluff: The Untold Story of American Submarine Espionage by Sherry Sontag
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

This is a series of accounts of submarine actions during the cold war, many on espionage or intelligence-gathering missions. The accounts are culled from a series of interviews with ex-submariners. Some of the stories are incredible.

It’s very well researched, and easy to read. If you have any interest in modern warships, especially submarines, this and Submarine are strongly recommended.
